Embroidery traditions are an integral part of the ancient Georgian traditional culture in Adjara and its interesting continuation. Ornament and storytelling variety are distinguished.in Adjara embroidery. Plant, animal, and anthropomorphic species were mainly characteristic.

The exhibit of the museum preserves the embroidery on fabrics of Ukrainian embroiderer A. Bordienko living in Batumi. The embroidery is done on black fabric with colored silk and moulin thread.
